Effective immediately, all CPC examinations administered on military installations and proctored by base education office personnel must be scheduled for September 1 - 15, 2008 only. As of January 1, 2009, all active duty military members stationed in CONUS will be required to attend computer based testing during regularly scheduled testing dates. Local testing on military installations will not be available after September 15 with the exception of active duty members stationed overseas. All Commission on Paraoptometric Certification examinations have been under Section 3689 for test fee reimbursement with GI Bill Funds for eligible examinees.

You may receive this benefit if you are eligible for:

  • Montgomery G.I. Bill - Active Duty (also called MGIB or Chapter 30)

  • VEAP (also called Chapter 32)

  • Dependants' Educational Assistance (DEA or Chapter 35)
